inventory |
In
the first three days of occupancy, you should complete a move-in
inventory. In your inventory, you should note any issues from
the previous leasehold for which you do not wish to be held
accountable. Upon completion, submit your inventory and I will sign
and deliver a copy of this inventory to keep with your lease. |
| repairs |
If
you are having problems with your apartment you may use our
repair
request form to explain your situation. Your problem will be
forwarded to the management and repair staff. If you have a pressing
problem such as a water leak or no heating or air conditioning, please
call the above number. |
|
pets |
We do rent to tenants with
pets. We have begun to refinish the concrete slab floors at
The Quarters and
Mesquite Square and we will rent these
apartments to pet owners - no offense to you or your pet, but we don't like
to lease apartments that have a lingering smell of urine in the carpet.
Occasionally, if the apartment has worn-out carpet that needs replacement,
we will get one more wear from it by renting it to pet owner. |

smoking |
Please
don't inquire about one of our apartments if you smoke - outside or inside,
it makes no difference to us. We do still have few smokers on the property -
they are grandfathered as they begin their leasehold prior to our ownership.
Our policy is not discriminatory as smokers are not a protected class and
our justification of
this policy can be read on this site. |

cable television |
Cable television is provided at all three properties free-of-charge.
This service is provided by Suddenlink and offers extended basic cable consisting
of channels 2-21, 23-66, and 70. If you are having a problem with
cable service, call Suddenlink at 325.698.3585. |
|
satellite guidelines |
We
do not allow satellite television antennas at The Quarters and Hillcrest
House. If you live at Mesquite Square, please
consult our guidelines to make sure that you antenna is installed
correctly. |

utilities |
When you start electric service you will need your ES ID number. We
have ES ID numbers for Hillcrest House,
Mesquite Square, and The Quarters archived on this site.
Also, you can choose your electric company by comparing rates on
the Texas power deregulation
website to find the most inexpensive provider by zip code.
Hillcrest House and Mesquite Square are in the 79601 zip code and
The Quarters is in the
79605 zip code. |

instructions |
If
you are a tenant at The
Quarters, we provide DSL internet as a benefit of your leasehold. We
also can provide you with an email at the rentabilene.com domain - just
email us or call us and we will set up your
account. We
provide all the necessary equipment and connection is easy with an
Ethernet cable after you configure your computer with our
DSL
instruction. |

delivery |
Each apartment will be
provided one key to an assigned mailbox at move-in. If you are moving to
or from another
address, you can request a change of address through the USPS
website. Also, if you plan to be gone for an extended period, you can
request that your mail be held until you return
through the same site. |

We
have a defined policy to ensure that you
privacy is maintained and to safeguard the information you provided at the
outset of your tenancy. |

All
leases and rental agreements are archived among these
lease
forms if you would like to review them before signing or if you lost
them and wish to see their content. All these forms are java scripted
so that personal information can be entered to create leases. |
